Prof. Roman Verostko 是这种‘演算造型艺术’的先驱：
THE ALGORISTS by Roman Verostko
‘演算造型艺术’可生成平面、立体、点阵（马赛克式的）、抽象、仿真、仿生（像生物在自我生长一样不断蔓延，并且，其形状基本没有重复）。而这次国庆的大型广场表演从造型形式上看只是‘演算造型艺术’中的“点阵图”形式。
在美国，他们是一个很小的学术团体，介于艺术家和数学+哲学爱好者之间，所以没什么追随者。作为翻译，我很希望能看到北理工数字表演与仿真技术实验室 的研究人员能跟这帮老头子取得联系并互动。因为这群人大都已经年近古稀。
