2. 1111 Sayɪlɪ Askerlik Kanununun EK-1’inci maddesi kapsamɪnda dövizle askerlik hizmetinden yararlanmak istiyorsanɪz en geç 31 ARALIK 2004 tarihine kadar bağlɪ bulunduğunuz konsolosluğa başvurmanɪz ve 5112 Euro veya karşɪlɪğɪ konvertibl yabancɪ ülke parasɪnɪ peşin olarak ödemeniz gerekmektedir. Aksi takdirde yurda dönerek tabi olduğunuz statüde askerlik hizmetinizi yerine getirmeniz gerekecektir. Yurda dönerek tabi olduğunuz statüde silah altɪna alɪnmak üzere askerlik şubesine başvurmamanɪz durumunda, hakkɪnɪzda 38 yaşɪnɪzɪ tamamladɪğɪnɪz yɪlɪ takip eden yɪl içinde Türk vatandaşlɪğɪnɪ kaybettirme işlemlerine başlatɪlacaktɪr.
3. İlerde telafisi mümkün olmayacak şekilde güç durumlarla karşɪlaşmamanɪz için, askerlik işlemlerinizi hassasiyetle takip etmeniz bulunduğunuz yabancɪ ülkede elde ettiğiniz haklarɪ kaybetmenize engel olmayacaktɪr. Tereddüt ettiğiniz her konuda ÇANKAYA Şubesine ait 0 312 320 xxxx numaralɪ telefonla irtibata geçerek ilgili personelle görüşerek bilgi alabilirsiniz.
Çeviri - İngilizce 1. Your military service procedures have been postponed for the last time according to Article 35/G of Law Number 1111, the Law of Military Service, until 31 DECEMBER 2004.
2. If you wish to take advantage of [the right to make a] foreign currency payment in lieu of military service enshrined in supplementary article 1 of Law Number 1111, the Law of Military Service, you must apply to the consulate in the country with which you are connected, and make an advance payment of 5112 Euros or the equivalent in foreign currency. Alternatively you must return to Turkey and perform the military service to which you are bound by statute. If you do not return to Turkey and report to a military service branch in order to bear arms for Turkey as you are bound to by statute, procedures will be initiated against you to strip you of your Turkish citizenship in the year following your 38th birthday.
3. Taking steps towards your military service with sensitivity so as not to be faced with difficult circumstances which will be impossible to rectify in the future, will prevent you losing the rights you have obtained in the foreign country you are in. You may obtain information in any matter in which you are hesitant by contacting the ÇANKAYA Branch on 0 312 320 xxxx and talking with the relevant personnel.

I have over 15 years of experience
interpreting and translating for the UNHCR, the ECHR, the Immigration
Appeals Court in Glasgow, international delegations, law firms, human
rights groups, community groups, journalists, family doctors and hospitals, with
English as my native language, and excellent abilities in spoken and
written Turkish.
I studied Turkish as a subsidiary at university, lived in Turkey for three years and since returning to the UK have travelled back regularly. I have a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) as well as an MA in Arabic (although I work with Turkish).
