TURQUOISE TRANSLATION
Translating in science (chemistry and physics), medical (clinical trials, medical reports, pharmaceutical reports) technical (medical device or equipment user guides), education, legal (UK government), NHS (patient reports or face to face and telephone interpreting), Military of Justice (police investigations), marketing.
I am a Freelance Translator and Interpreter since 2012, and based in the UK. I am Turkish native speaker and moved to England in 2001. I have always had keen interest in the English Language itself and enjoyed translating for my family and friends in social situations before I became professional translator.
My degree is in Chemistry and I also have accounting technician certificate. Previously I have done private tutoring, and worked as R&D engineer, and worked in sales, as well as in accounting. I also worked voluntarily, helping English students in the local middle school for mathematic subject and translating chemistry subject for an online university.
I have started my translating business under my name at first, in 2012. I have been running my business and raising 2 children at the same time. (They were 2 and 7 years old at that time) My business had a steady growth and the number of agencies I work with has increased. Now I have been working with number of amazing agencies within and outside the UK, providing translating, proofreading, DTP, transcription, face to face and telephone interpreting services under Turquoise Translations since February 2018.
I work and search hard, and do my best to deliver high quality results. I have very good long term working relationship with the agencies as a result of my work ethics.
I currently hold Enhanced CRB and SC clearances in order to work for highly confidential projects. I am also certified for GDPR by ICO for handling highly confidential data.
