The following sentence appears in the heading of a letter confirming that a Letter of Request has been executed:

"Extrada dos Autos de Reg. Conv. e outros - obtida prova, xxxxxxxx, Procuradoria-Geral da República."

I'm a bit confused by the abbreviations - "reg. conv." and would appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Mark, yeah, it is a Letter of Request issued under the EC Regulations. I can't really talk about the nature of the proceedings unfortunately, which I know makes it harder to put things into context.

Just realised I made typo above - it should be 'Extraída' and not 'Extrada'.

'Registo de Conversa' is a good guess, however, I don't think there is a 'registo de conversa' in the case files - although I could be wrong as I don't have access to the full bundle.

@João I also think registo de convénios is an unlikely answer. Autos = record of legal proceedings, case file. What is the nature of the legal proceedings in this case? Was the carta rogatória issued under the Hague Convention or under EC Regulation no. 1206/2001? Registo de conversa is a more likely possibility.

I'm pretty sure it's not 'registo de convénios' - I should have mentioned that the document is from Portugal.

My hunch is a register kept by someone of implementation of letters rogatory aka letter of request under a Convention and recorded as having been served pursuant to such.
