From an academic paper looking into acculturative stress in immigrant couples. This section is evaluating the results of the study
My wife is a (Spanish) psychologist, and she doesn't understand the expression beyond "actor" meaning "most important" - "The evolution of the most important effects of the model are generally significant"
Are we missing something?

actor effect
(effects in your context).
I don't know whether the Spanish term is a calque of the English, but "actor effect", as opposed to "partner effect" (efectos pareja a couple of lines later in your model) does seem to be an established term in psychology. Here is an article about it:
"The Actor–Partner Interdependence Model: A model of bidirectional effects in developmental studies"
William L. Cook & David A. Kenny
[...] The two most central components of the APIM are the actor effects and the partner effects. In longitudinal terms, an actor effect measures how much a person’s current behaviour is predicted by his or her own past behaviour" (p. 2, col. 2)

Other references to "actor effects" can be found in a number of places.

(model's) effects on the individual
I think the contrast is between "efectos actor" and (further down) "efectos pareja", that is between "effects on the individual as an agent or as an individual in the acculturation model as opposed to those on the couple".
However, I confess I am not wholly sure about this reading. Good luck!

actor effects
I think this is a psychological concept, derived from the "actor-observer effect". It refers to the difference between people's perception of behaviour depending on whether the behaviour is theirs (the actor) or the behaviour is someone else's (as the observer). People have a tendency to attribute their own behaviour to outside influences, while attributing others' behaviour to their predispositions.
