El Mundo tiende a una mayor banalización de la imagen femenina, y sus fotografías de contraportada y portada utilizan a la mujer como ornamento o reclamo más propio del género rosa que de un medio de información general.

Incluso se reproducen algunos estereotipos asociados a las mismas como el de mujer ornamento, o mujer reclamo, que ocupan las páginas de sociedad o cotilleos, y en El Mundo incluso saltan a la portada como reclamo visual/atrayente del lector.
I'm looking for a better term for this than "trophy wife", but it's that idea of a female stereotype- ornamental woman doesn't sound quite right either.

You might want to vary the translation a bit if it is repeated many times. I think "attention-getter" especially fits with reclamo visual - a visual attention-getter : [PDF]
