After many successful years of teaching Spanish, French, and English, I launched my freelance translation business and am pursuing ATIA (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta) certification in Spanish and in French. I have a B.A. in Spanish from a Mexican university and an M.A. in French, as well as a B.A. in modern languages from a Canadian university. I have studied and worked in Mexico and Ecuador and studied and lived in Paris, France. I was born in a small town in eastern Ontario, where most people spoke French. So I have been hearing and speaking French all my life.
I have a Master’s degree in library and information science and, in light of my research skills, am able to easily adapt to other specialized subject fields.
