The archaeological object is an observable one, which the archaeologist had to learn how to observe. This observation requires an adequate and precise knowledge of those terms and expressions that constitute such object. I consider in this research that the knowledge of the science is built through the language and the particular ways in which it is used in the texts by each science. Consequently, the dictionary contains the definition of each of the terms of its corpus, with the only exception of grammatical particles. The analytical steps I follow in order to reach the usage definitions are: to ellaborate a corpus; to organize the texts, according to the selected method, into minimal textual segments; to recover the explicit definitions and to build the implicit ones; to arrange this definitions in semantic networks for each term; to register and write the complete list of terms used and the dictionary entries; to write the definitions of my dictionary. I consider it a living dictionary, because it moves along with the permanent making of the language of the science that it aims to recover.
