the complete error as I try to "save target as" is the following: Failed to save target content: Name cannot begin with "-" character, hexadecimal value 0x2013. Line 7, position 144. I double-clicked on the message and it took me to line 2758 (and not line 7 like the message says) and I don't see anything out of place (with either line) because I used alt+ins to copy the exact format from the source document. I asked a friend of mine who has plenty experience with CAT Tools (he has a lot of them installed on his computer) to help me and he tried exporting the file to each one of them but could not create a target file. We suspected that the source file, the PDF, was not created properly. So, anyway, at the last minute he tried forcing a result using De Jave X2. It worked! But the TM could not be fully integrated into the target file, many segments were not translated, and the document format was messed up. So I used the target file from De Jave X2 as a source file and overlapped it with the TM. This has been a long day...

There is no hyphen (-) in the target segment as accused by the error. I have the same issue yesterday. After numerous attempts I found a solution. The problem was caused from a Word document that was converted from a PDF with an OCR software. After opening the Word document in Studio 2011, and completing the whole document, while obtaining the translated document with "Save Target As", I get the same problem as Adrian did. After many stressful hours, I saw that Studio indicates a specific segment which is on page 27 of the file (which obviously nothing problematic). Then from a 42 pages PDF document, I converted the first 26 pages in OCR program, and then converted other pages between 28-42, and then pre-translated in Studio. And I translated page 27 manually. In this way, I could be able to get the whole file. Hope this helps others.
