"Enfatizamos, em cumprimento ao disposto na Resolução CNS Nº 240/1997, que a indicação de nomes de representantes de usuários para os Comitês de Ética em Pesquisa deve ser informada ao Conselho Municipal correspondente". It seems here that indicação refers to nomination or appointment, or is it simply a redundant way of stating that the names of Ethics Committee user representatives must be communicated?
