Beaufschlagungskonzentration

German to English Tech/Engineering Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Anforderungen an das Prüf-Aerosol und die verwendete Messtechnik

Zum Erreichen der geforderten Beaufschlagungskonzentration wird dem Luftvolumenstrom rohluftseitig des Filters ein künstlich erzeugtes polydisperses oder atmosphärisches Aerosol zugeführt.

This is in the context of leak-tightness and seal integrity testing for HEPA filters.

Normally Beaufschlagung is impact, but here that doesn't make sense...

Thanks!

the concentration in the feed

Alternative: The concentration in the feed stream.
(See the related question concerning Aufgabe.)
The feed stream is the test stream immediately upstream of the filter being tested.

loading concentration

Concentration is the mass of a pollutant in a defined volume of water (for example, milligrams of nitrate-nitrogen per liter, or PPM). Load is the amount (mass) of a pollutant that is discharged into a water body during a period of time (i.e. tons of sediment per year).

What is aerosol loading?
Definition. suspensions of solids and/or liquid particles in the air that we breathe, as dust, smoke and haze, measured by the mass concentration of aerosol particles or by an optical measure.

exposure concentration // test concentration

This is the concentration that the filter is being exposed to during the experiment.

Seems like Beaufschlagung means feed here.
