Yes, I'm aware of the previous kudoz queries and the responses. However, I'm posting the term again because I specifically want to hear some opinions from fellow translators about the viability of using the literal translation "study level", in the context of (a tick box heading in) a market survey questionnaire, referring to the educational qualifications of the respondents. I'm strongly tempted to use the literal translation, as it seems fine to me, and for its brevity, but I also have misgivings because I have lived in Spain for almost thirty years and suspect I may have become "contaminated" by this type of usage.

What is the highest level of education you completed? Is a standard question, at least in USA.
I have also seen the other two forms:

I noticed but I do not know how to transfer my answer. Besides, are you sure it is not a translation query? Translation is not only about what something means but also about the best equivalent in the target language, which I believe is your query.

Note from asker:
I've closed the query. It is now active in the EN-EN section, as it is not really a translation query per se. |
Thanks, but I'm not looking for "best equivalent", simply opinions on the feasibility of using the literal "Study level" as the heading instead of the usual (boilerplate) terms. |

Thanks Rachel! I hear that question very often when people are interviewed.

: (Highest) level of education (attained) is what I use, and do so frequently as I translate a lot of research in education and the social sciences.
