Hopefully you can provide some nice proposals for "übernehmen" in this context. Struggling to find something suitable. See sentence below:
"Vor Beginn der Aufstellungs- bzw. Montagearbeiten hat der AUFTRAGNEHMER den Aufstellungsort mit allen für den AUFTRAGNEHMER von AUFTRAGGEBER gemäß Anhang 1 zu erstellenden Fundamenten und Anschlüssen usw. zu übernehmen, ohne dass dadurch rechtliche, den Grundstückseigentümer treffenden Verpflichtungen übertragen werden."

i think you're right, if you prefer to say they will "take over" the site iso take over operating it or the responsibility for it
