XXX reúne a sus empresas asociadas en la novena edición del YYY Event

Spanish to English Other Journalism
Buenas tardes.

¿Cómo traduciríais esta frase a inglés? El "reúne" este me tiene loca. No sé si "gathers" o "brings together" quedaría bien.

Se trata de una nota de prensa.

Muchas gracias por cualquier sugerencia.

Saludos a todos.

A bit more context, please What kind of event? What are these companies doing in it? And has it already happened, or is it in the future?

XXX gathers his/her associated companies to the ninth edition of the YYY Event

"gathers" también es correcto si lo quieres que sea más formal

Corporate affiliates of XXX will meet in the Ninth Annual YYY Event

Una traducción menos literal, creo. Puedes sustituir "corporate" por "business" si no son todas empresas incorporadas.
Peer comment(s):

neutral eloisemac : "meet at/for the 9th Edition of YYY' (not meet in) and there is no mention of annual in the Spanish original. It could be twice yearly for all we know!

Spanish term (edited): XXX reúne a sus empresas asociadas en la novena edición del YYY Event.

The Ninth Annual YYY showcases XXX and its [entire] family of companies.

This can be tweaked to taste. For example:

XXX and its family of affiliates will be front and center at the Ninth Annual YYY.

I don't think any kind of literal translation of "reune" works here and, for this reason, neither of the previous suggestions really work.

The main idea here is that "XXX and its companies will be featured at the Ninth Annual YYY" and NOT that XXX's action in "gathering" or "bringing together" its families of affiliates.

XXX and its associated companies/affiliate companies will gather together for the...

You could also say 'XXX and its associated companies will come together for the 9th Edition of YYY' - 'come together' is a little more informal

Another option is 'will meet at the 9th Edition of YYY' but I don't like this as much as you miss the sense of coming together.

I really don't think it's 'to showcase' or 'feature' as a previous poster suggested. But it's difficult to say without more context.Could you provide some lines that follow?
