German term

Störgröße

German to English Medical Medical (general) discharge report / laboratory test results
"Bem.z.LiHPIasma
Störgröße: hämo"

I know that the first part is "Comments on lithium heparin plasma", but I am not sure about what this comment could be. Any ideas?

confounding factor/substance

...Heparin given during hemofiltration might be confounding substance.
E.g. see here:

"...A confounding factor is the administration of heparin for hemofiltration..."

agree Joe Tamblyn : Confounding factor (as opposed to "value") is correct, and commonly seen in cardiology lab work. Since you asked, the comment will probably regard CK-MB levels not always being clinically reliable.
