Portuguese term

Idoneidade

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
I know there is a word for this but simply cannot remember it.

It has todo with the importance of an independent valuation of the value of a business.

Fica mais difícil garantir a idoneidade do valor encontrado.

Thanks!

moral ground

I think that in this case what is being questioned is not only the amount (valor) but also how one arrived at that amount.

In this case it leads me to think of bias, credibility, moral ground / moral basis of the amount (valor).

Just food for thought, I may be totally off.
