I don't understand in this context! What does the consumer "do/carry out" other than acquire or enjoy the goods, products or services as end user?

I am not sure of this answer, but I believe it makes sense.
Urrutia's Diccionario de negocios has the following options for realizar:
"realizar: to perform, to carry out, to dispose of, turn into cash, to liquidate"
Now, even though we are talking about a consumer, look at the sentence:
"Consumer: the individiual or entity that purchases, (or) turns into cash or enjoyes as the ultimate consignee the goods, products or servies."
Although obviusly a consumer buys, after the purchase the consumer can either enjoy what it has bought or can turn it into cash. Since we have the conjunction "or" ("o") before the last choice in the series, that is "disfrutar" it makes sense that the preceding would be in semantic opposition.
Fruit for thought.
