I'm used to seeing either "jours fériés" OR "jours chômés", but not all 3 words together.

@Isabelle J'en connais bcp (des jours fériés travaillés je veux dire). Bien sur ce n'est pas mon cas, mais tous les gens qui travaillent dans les métiers où il faut une permanence 24/24 7/7 (pompiers, infirmiers, policiers, hôtellerie et restauration etc) sont habitués aux jours fériés travaillés.

A rebuttal However, in this case, the full phrase is "tous les jours de la semaine y compris le dimanche et les jours fériés chômés," so it would include all holidays – both worked or unworked, whether public holidays or not and whether bank holidays or not.

An explanation "Jours fériés chômés" is just a way of saying "unworked public holidays", as opposed to "jours fériés travaillés" which are "worked public holidays."

public holidays

or 'non-working public holidays' if you want to dot all the i's and cross all the t's.... I think you have to differentiate between national/public holidays and ordinary holidays (annual leave).

En référence au jour où les banques sont closes et donc où le jour est chômé car pas de transactions bancaires possibles
