Spanish term

instituciones y bodegas españolas

Spanish to English Art/Literary Wine / Oenology / Viticulture
In the context of wine production, would the English translation for "institución" just be "institution"? Or is there a specific word in English for this?

In a pinch you could without it, but in English I think that it could appear that something might be missing. I any case, now to bed and tomorrow will be another day!
Jessie LN (asker) Jul 18, 2010:
Thank you Jenni. I'm not sure what types of institutions they are. There's no explanation, but I will do some research.
Jenni Lukac (X) Jul 18, 2010:
What kind of institutions are they Jessie? Regulatory? Commercial?

agree Evans (X) : I agree that it probably covers trade associations, regulatory bodies and other institutions. Some of them would be local and others national. I think "institutions" has to stay in there, but with more information if possible.

Spanish associations and wineries

There are a great deal of different wine associations, but not "institutions" as such. This would be a literal translation.
