Spanish term

la dirección de influyentes medios de comunicación

Spanish to English Social Sciences Government / Politics
¡Hola!

Hellen

orchestrating / pulling the strings of influential communication media

Thers is a sense of conspiracy in this text, which I feel justifies the use of "orchestrating" or "pulling the strings" for "dirección" - they are guiding, managing, directing, but in an underhand or secret way.
Peer comment(s):

agree Muriel Vasconcellos : Excellent! Though I would say 'communications media' - ungrammatical, but more common.
