Spanish term
help with phrase
Spanish to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Regarding the financial compensation paid by an executive search company to professionals already in their system for referring people they know (referenciado):
En el caso de que un profesional cuente con un referenciado que la empresa no tenía identificado ni en su base de profesionales ni en algún proceso, no solo optará al 100% de la contraprestación económica de todos los procesos donde ese referenciado acepte a dicho professional.
So basically, it starts by saying that if the professional refers someone who is not already in the company's database or being considered for the current job offer, they will receive 100% of the compensation....
But am I missing something here? It seems that the "no solo" part should be followed by something like "si no tambien". Maybe I've been looking at it too long!
(donde ese referenciado acepte a dicho professional = the referred person has to confirm that they know the person referring them)
Thanks in advance!

see below,
I'm afraid you're right. You''ll have to contact the client.
The meaning here is clearly:
will not only have right to a 100% compensation, [but also/ sino también...]
Apparently some typo.

You're right Giovanni, and 'qualify for...' is a very good choice.

He/she will not only opt for 100% of the consideration...
the Spanish is very odd.... you're right about wanting the other shoe (sino...) to drop, but also "opt" is very odd in your context unless something that comes before explains it. Nonetheless... the above is what the Spanish says
