German term

Roadmovie

German to English Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama film
this is one of these English/German expressions that I'm not sure is used in the same way in English.

The German text I am translating (about the cinema) describes a film (In this case "Im Juli") as a Roadmovie.

Do we use this expression in English? I can find no reference to it. If not, what should I use?

I think it basically means films where there is much travelling/on the road.

Any help welcome
thanks
