I suppose CPN means Certified Pro Network. I have been a Proz member since 2007, but I’ve never applied for the Pro seal, so I don’t know if it makes a difference. | | | Michael Harris Almanya Local time: 19:06 Üye (2006) Almanca > İngilizce

I agree the poll should have used the full name or have a link or something.
For one not having had a formal translation training, It has been useful in some instances.

I'm guessing that the large vote for "Other" (56.7% as I write) reflects the people like me who didn't know what CPN stands for when they voted.

At some point, I was even one of the reviewers in my pairs, but had to stop eventually because of the pathetic quality of some of the translations submitted.
I remember one in which a list of "Yes" (and possibly "No") answers made up most of the earth-shattering exchanges in what was supposed to be a dialogue.
No idea what happened after I submitted my review on that, so you never know, that 'professional' could still be around, enjoying their CPN badge and hard-earned status. ▲ Collapse | | | neilmac İspanya Local time: 19:06 İspanyolca > İngilizce + ...
