It's funny, but I first provided this address to somebody some time ago, and now I can not find it anymore. My interest is actually the REACH legislation (1272 of 2008) and its awesome hundreds of (relevant) pages. Aligning this mass of work is a horrible thing - and stupid too, given the fact, it's been done (and paid by the taxpayer's money).

Any hints will be welcome. My immediate interest of course are all those tables and class specifications, clauses etc etc in appendices. ... See more

Are they really updated? May 15, 2009

Hi ProZians,

Yes, I downloaded and imported them for my pairs too last year, but now I had to deal with texts, that weren't in there in Czech at that time. Now I found quite a lot of stuff in EUR-LEX that isn't in there for sure in my pairs, and I had to align it myself.

So my question: Are these TMs updated regularly?

Happy importing!

DGT TM Updates -- Jul 1, 2009

Hi,

I have a bit of experience with the data and it was my understanding that the TMs in the format that is released on the JRC site, http://langtech.jrc.it/DGT-TM.html, is NOT updated regularly. A question further to the discussion above May 19, 2010

Has anyone figured out a clever way of converting the DGT TM's into Trados TMWs, including a way of specifying in the userid that the segments are from the DGT?

I was thinking about using 'Replace Between Delimiters' (or sth like that) using Notepad++, but I don't know how to do that.

Thanks!

I am downloading again (thanks for the refresher), but as far as I can remember (and the site says so, why fix something that's not broken) the contents are in the TMX format. So who needs TMW convert?! I would simply use the TMX import and tag the imported records, if necessary. Actually I will just refresh my eur-LEX.tmw

Am I missing something?

PS: last update 2008 - duh...! Looks like I may have it all already.
