Hello.

I used to access Eurodicautom at www.europa.eu.int/eurodicautom. Now this address apparently doesn't exist anymore. What do you know about it?

Thank you.

Don't trust IATE! Apr 13, 2009

Too many people here trust IATE for their translations and the thought of it makes me shiver. Please use other sources to confirm any term you take from IATE, as tons of them are simply incorrect.

(Edited to correct a typo.)

Correct, beware of those translations. Especially when dealing with EU institutions.

I totally agree - apart from some appalling Euro-isms there are some horrendous howlers.

The translations are usually rated from 1 to 3: 1: Reliability not verified, 2: Minimum reliability, 3: Reliable
