Bio:I have worked as a professor (M.A.) most of my life (languages ) and have translated many different styles but last year I decided to make translation my profession. So I am new in this.
Message:I find it very irritating that I cannot find a manual for Trados, so I'm still fighting with it. Anyone here who lives in Copenhagen and who is willing to help me with the practical ?
Bio:I have a degree in Danish from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK and have worked as a translator and journalist (e.g. as a stringer for Newsweek) in Denmark since 1980. I have also written for tourist guides.
I translate from Danish, Norwegian and Swedish an...d speak fluent German and Brazilian Portuguese.
My work has included everything from absurd theatre to swing bridges, railways and bank annual reports.
I play persussion in a soul band and have played Brazilian stuff for 25 years.
