Description
Although computer-aided translation (CAT) tools are certainly more useful to translate technical texts, they can also help literary translators be more productive and improve the quality of their work. In this webinar we will discuss how literary translators can benefit from the use of such tools considering comfort/ergonomics, the possibility of creating a bilingual corpus for future searches, help to type faster and the ability to control the text as whole.

We will also challenge the claim that its use limits the translator’s freedom and creativity, and show options to work with these tools without having to invest too much money.
Target audience
Literary and creative translators.
