Yes, both professional and personal Dec 17, 2010

My personal/professional resolutions for 2011 (planning) are:

1) Being an active member of Greenpeace
2) Visiting Seychelles
3) Visiting India (Bangalore especially)
4) Living for a few months in Taurus Mountains (naturally with internet connection)
5) Less work more money
6) Planting 20-25 apple and cherry trees.

Other Dec 17, 2010

Probably no, but I don't have time to waste thinking about next week, never mind next year. Will wait until it comes. Workwise for me 2011 is still a long way off.

Review and Renew Dec 17, 2010

This is always an important time for me and my partner to review achievements and downfalls, and set goals for the coming year. Years ago it was written on paper. Now it is a powerpoint presentation! I make reference to it in moments of depression during the year. It always cheers me up.

The only resolution I indend to make for 2011 is...not to make one.

Let's face it, resolutions usually last anywhere between 2 days and one month.:-)

I have plans for 2011, but that's a different issue altogether.

To Adnan Özdemir Dec 17, 2010

That's wonderful!
Being an active member of Greenpeace
Planting 20-25 apple and cherry trees.

Actually many colleagues here are working in a conservation project.
We have experienced many abnormal weather (tremendous summer heat, etc.) this year in Asia. So I am planning to plant some trees too.

No resolutions... Dec 17, 2010

I tend to plan things and come up with new plans if something did not work - so I guess my only resolution would be to always have a plan B. Not really a resolution, more like an attitude, I think...

Best wishes from Berlin!

No special time of year for that Dec 17, 2010

I see life is a constant experience of reevaluation and goal setting, both personally and professionally.

In any case, if I were going to set aside a special time of year to pause and reflect, this wouldn't be it. In late December I'm usually swamped with work.

Resolutions? Dec 17, 2010

Oh, yes.
Some job-related resolutions, as usual.
Maybe also some personal resolutions.
But I do not want to think about this kind of things now.

Maybe tomorrow, or next month.
I'll keep you posted.
