Was much too busy.
I don't know where working translators find the time to take part these things, I'm always either up to my ears in work with frantic deadlines, or in the doldrums waiting for the next "urgent" order to come in...

Well, I voted yes, but I think 'attend' might be an exaggeration. I sidled in, eavesdropped nervously on a few conversations, tried to find my way around and sidled out again. I meant to return for some of the speakers but either forgot or got entrenched in work again.

I don't think I'll bother this year.

I was too busy as well and I don't really see the interest of this virtual conference.

However, that doesn't mean that training and initiatives such as this one aren't useful or necessary! I spend quite a bit of money on training and I happily make time for it, because it adds to the quality of my work and my translation speed. If there's an interesting training somewhere, I will attend, even if it is abroad. And I will turn lots of work down then too. It's an investment in my futur
