Bio

I have been a translator (as my main profession) since early 2020.

Before that, I was raised bilingually in the US and in São Paulo.

Completed a BA in English in 2011 and an MA in Translation Studies in 2022 and am currently a PhD student in Translation Studies. 

I have worked mostly with academic material, ranging from articles, Phd Thesis, books, and abstracts. 

I have also worked on two literary publications, one published in Brazil, a translation of Fairy Tales of Ireland by W.B. Yeats published in Brazil and a lecture and an interview from Brazilian poet Chacal at Harvard soon to be published in the US. 

I enjoy and find it easy to translate both into Portuguese and into English and I also have experience from Spanish into English. 

I am a published poetry with a national poetry award (2016), have written two unpublished novels and finished my MA before anyone else in my class. 

Other than that I still have much experience to gain as a professional translator, even at my high level of linguistic skill.
