I am an architect originally from Brazil, currently seeking translation jobs as Freelance. I had 7 years of formal English language training in Rio de Janeiro, before I came to the USA in 2000. I also have more than 17 years of progressively responsible experience working as a city planner for the City and the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the City of Largo, Florida, USA. In those positions, I have done extensive work writing and presenting documents and reports to City committees, boards and Councils, plus Code amendments and Planning Board cases, both in English and Portuguese.
I am the informal interpreter between my American and Brazilian family members and friends in my trips back to Brazil, here in the USA and over Skype.
