Bio

English-to-French Freelance Translator full-time since 2015, and always, a Librarian. See my website at http://nadiatranslates.com

In 2015, I started a freelance English-to-French translator/proofreader career. I'm now focusing on humanities-related translation. I completed the NYU Certificate of Translation Studies in Spring 2016.
My specializations and areas of interest include Libraries & Information Science, History & Museums, Arts & Culture, Youth Literature, Comic Books & Romance Novels, as well as NGO work.

My professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail, as well as my ability to learn about new fields when translating and proofreading texts has always been appreciated.

Published translations:

Recent translation projects I'm very proud of: Journalist Kenneth Rosen article that won the Print trophy at the 25th Bayeux Calvados-Normandy Award for War Correspondents (2018); Atrocity Report scenarios with the US Holocaust Museum (2019-2020); online novella for mystery fiction author John Connolly (2020).
