I come from Edinburgh, in Scotland, and have lived in the Netherlands for 28 years. My career has always involved music and words, but in differing combinations. I started as a theatre composer and actor, became an arranger and songwriter, then copywriter and vocal coach, now a translator.

My strength as a translator is my ability to write.

I have two grown-up children and three Bearded Collies. I love theatre, reading, film and cooking.
