Bio
After a break from freelance translation due to relocation to Singapore, where I worked as a bilingual Technical Editor (English and French) with the Singapore Branch of the International Electrotechnical Commission (from 2011 to 2015). I have now returned to Bangalore and look forward to getting back to translating.

Details of my freelance career are given below...

Translating since 1991, in Bangalore, India, my growth as a translator has been closely linked with the growth of the city itself. As one of its few translators in the early nineties, I had the opportunity to be directly associated with some prestigious projects involving Indo-French technical collaboration. After translating for more than 10 years in the local market and prompted by the mushrooming of local translation agencies, (making it difficult for freelancers to survive), I started translating for the European market in 2005 and most of my clients are now from Europe.
