This appears in an academic paper on Paleolithic research of Far East Eurasia. The term in question appears in a passage describing Yubetsu microblade technology/methods. The passage is as follows:
Does anyone know how to properly render this into English?
Thank you.

the Oiruka 2 site in Chitose
Chitose is a city in Hokkaido. A paper (http://paleoasia.jp/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Proceedings_N... on archaeology in Hokkaido has the following:
In this paper, the preceding sentence mentions "柏台-1遺跡", and a paper (http://archpress.lib.sfu.ca/index.php/archpress/catalog/down... refers to this as "the Kashiwadai 1 site" and "Kashiwadai 1", so I believe the correct notation for "オイルカ2" in English would be "the Oiruka 2 site" or simply "Oiruka 2".
