Es stimmt, die Abkürzungen sind nicht immer leicht nachzuvollziehen. Ich sehe auch viel häufiger die Abkürzung FTC für Fotozelle. Ich würde trotzdem auf Fotozelle tippen. Vielleicht war mein Beispiel auch nicht sehr aussagekräftig. Hier noch zwei Beispiele:
L’abbreviatura Ev. significa elettrovalvola o canale e l’abbreviatura Ft. significa Fotocellula.

Dieses Beispiel stammt aus einem Forum, wo der Fragesteller übrigens selbst FC und FT durcheinanderbringt:
un cilindro pneumatico che fa la corsa che ti interessa x portare la FT in posizione (le slitte possono regolare la corsa in maniera fine con delle battute meccaniche).
