Στην ουσία από ότι είδα η παραμόρφωση που αναφέρεται ως sock είναι ότι μοιάζει με το σχήμα κάλτσας στα δάκτυλα που είναι στρογγυλεμένη

Συγγνώμη, ξέρω ότι έχει κλείσει η ερώτηση. Σωστή η άλλη απάντηση, αλλά τo windsock είναι ένα ύφασμα ραμμένο σε σχήμη κώνου που δείχνει την κατεύθυνση του ανέμου. Υπάρχουν windsocks σε όλα τα αεροδρόμια. Αν ενδιαφέρεται κανείς, μπορεί να δει ένα σκίτσο στην παρακάτω διεύθυνση:
