Ici, il me semble que "format de date invalide" a le même sens que "doit contenir un format de date valide", puisque le message d'erreur a pour objectif d'indiquer à l'utilisateur qu'il a utilisé un mauvais format. Donc : blanc bonnet et bonnet blanc.
