Si leer es “escuchar a los muertos con los ojos” (como dijo Chartier que escribió Quevedo), en las piezas sonoras que se presentan en esta exhibición la artista no solamente está tomando a la escritura por su lado más ciego, el del sonido que genera la voz cuando lee, con sus inflexiones, acentos y erratas, como si fueran manuscritos invisibles donde se perciben los titubeos.

"blindest side " is the obvious literal translation, but I get the sense this means something more specific here.

El texto comienza con una conocida cita que define leer como “escuchar a los muertos con los ojos”, mezclando los sentidos (usar la vista para oír)

Se alude a piezas sonoras en las que se toma la escritura por su lado más ciego,

Hay que suponer que no es música sino recitado o declamación o algo cantado o canturreado quizás…

La alusión del sonido que genera la voz cuando lee, sirve para retomar la cita y presentar las piezas sonoras como lecturas sin ojos (las dicen o hacen la voz o las voces, no hay papel o texto que mirar con los ojos)

En la perspectiva del texto se valoriza esa lectura grabada que hay que percibir como algo vivo (por dejar aquí tb un contraste o paradoja con la cita inicial) con las peculiaridades y marcas del habla o entonación a la interpretación o recreación de la pieza, y parece ser innecesario mirar o "leer" de verdad

Se habla de una exhibición con piezas sonoras, es decir, que se escuchan directamente, sin que haya que escuchar con los ojos, por eso lo de lado más ciego

Explanation:
"Ciego" is being used as a metaphoric replacement/inversion. The artist is tackling writing from the side/aspect we are usually most blind to, thus "lado ciego".

Alternatively, "its most removed aspect" or similar.
