"Embargo" drückt die Entscheidung der westlichen Mächte aus auf russisches Gas/Öl zu verzichten (was nur begrenzt klappt, da sonst aktuell vieles zusammenbrechen würde), was die Preise nach oben steigen lässt und
"Gas weaponizing" ist die Verknappung (Hahn zu aus politischen Gründen als Druckmittel , sowohl von ukrainischer Seite (Pipeline-Transitland) als auch russischer Seite möglich, wenn der Westen gewissen Forderungen nicht nachkommt.) und/oder Preissteigerungen von russischer Seite aus.
Ich bevorzuge das objektivere und weniger politpropangandistische Wort "Druckmittel" gegenüber dem "kampfgeilen", reißerischen "Waffe".
