Arabic term or phrase: تجليات
Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Palestinian novel and I'm not sure how to translate this. I know the verb means to manifest, or be evident, so would this be manifestations? (considering the context)

It's a mother talking about how a daughter just disappears when they're talking.

أنت لا تعرفين أني راقبتكِ مرات في تجليات اختفائك المباغت من وسط حكينا.

Manifestations of your sudden disappearance? (This sounds funny to me.)

Thank you!

agree  Assem AlKhallouf: Yes, "تجليات" doesn't fit here in both Arabic and English. It is much better to omit it.
