Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Anna Herbst

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

I'm with Michele. Not quite a Pro question, is it?
Michele Fauble Dec 18, 2019:
Why complicate things? I think the asker just needed help understanding the Swedish.
SafeTex Dec 18, 2019:
@ all Looking again at this question and that it is in "letters", i think my own answer is too "technical" and "it depends on how much wind and sunshine there is" is probably better in this informal context

Swedish term (edited): beror på hur mycket det blåse

depends on wind speed

Yes, this is very close to wind strength but this is the term that is normally used IMHO. Of course, it's calculated over a period of time as it can be 0 km per hour at times.

Hello Michele. I agree with you and said as much in the discussion. I did not notice that the question was "general" and not "technical"

It depends on how strong the wind is.

I USA (jag har varit där i 26 år) talar man i vardagligt språk "hur stark vinden är" In all the years I have been there I have never heard "how much wind is blowing." But more how strong the wind is. Is it a strong wind today, just as an example. Hope it helps.
