: Глагол to lift тут неуместен. Буквальный перевод редко доводит до добра. // Вы можете удивляться, но да, есть такая вещь как лексическая сочетаемость (и нарушения оной). IMHO неграмотный оригинал - проблема заказчика, неграмотный перевод - исполнителя.
