En definitiva, se trata de que las personas con necesidades de LTC puedan acceder a los servicios necesarios y reducir el impacto financiero que tiene para individuos con determinados perfiles, asumir el pago de los servicios formales. En este sentido, cabe considerar sistemas complementarios u otras fórmulas alternativas de OOP-LTC, como el uso de otros instrumentos financieros de liquidación del patrimonio o sistemas de aseguramiento y previsión.
