Поскольку мне доводилось переводить патенты Halliburton похожей тематики (ссылку дать не могу, т.к. они еще в процессе защиты), рискну предложить свой вариант.
Мне он кажется более правильным, чем другие предложенные варианты, т.к. понятие дальнометрия в бурении относится к определению относительного положения ствола скважины, подлежащей бурению, относительно уже существующей скважины или скважин.
