My doubt is regarding the "accepting current patients" part. Can I (more or less freely) translate it as "se aceita pacientes novos no momento"?

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Continuo a dizer que os termos mais fáceis acabam por não ser tão fáceis assim.
Este debate quase que dava para uma dissertação entre os adjectivos :-D
Na verdade, as referências que encontrei inicialmente davam margem para dúvidas.
“A new patient is one who has not received any face to face professional service from the physician/qualified healthcare professional or another physician/qualified healthcare professional of the exact same specialty/subspecialty who belongs to the same group practice within the past three years”. Cheguei depois à definição que a Thais encontrou para "current patient".
E encontrei uma outra definição (inglês Austrália):

Concluindo, depois disto tudo, vou eliminar a minha resposta :)
Fiquei com a mesma dúvida que o Thiago ao fazer as minhas pesquisas inicialmente.
Só que com indicações destas (ver abaixo), eu entendo bem a dúvida do Thiago:
Accepting New Patients - PCPs Only. If the provider is accepting both new and current patients.

Assim, parece que dá entender que "new" e "current" estão dentro do mesmo saco, ou seja, que "Accepting New Patients" inclui os novos e os atuais pacientes.
