calorie-packed

English to French Other Advertising / Public Relations marketing formula
Hello all,

there again I'm struggling to find a tagline with this sentence "We then created the first and biggest donation from the calorie-packed creations that are their speciality."

Context:

"It was talked about in the comments during the week the show was live and became a plus point for Epic Meal Time, but it was even better for Action Against Hunger.
We then created the first and biggest donation from the ***calorie-packed creations*** that are their speciality."

Many thanks in advance

agree surbeg : "Calorie-packed", c'est plein de calories, mais pas forcément hypercalorique.

English term (edited): calorie-packed creations

créations énergétiques

Hard to tell without enough context to go on, but this sunds as if it is making a virtue out of calories — so presumably to do with helping hungry people to grow and givng them energy; hence my suggestion, which seems to me to fit with e.g. the 'valeur énergétique' we find on nutrition labelling

As Susana has pointed out, the source text is positive, not negative in tone — unusually, when talking about things with lots of calories in them!

The use of '...-packed' clearly indicates this positive aspect (cf. expressions like "action-packed" etc.); had it been intended to be negative, the writer might for example have chosen "calorie-laden" to indicate the negative connotation.

agree Susana E. Cano Méndez : D'accord, car c'est l'option la moins négative, à mon avis :)

Merci, Susana ! It was exactly that aspect which seemed to me to be the key issue here.
