se focaliser est dans le Larousse: (emploi pronominal) se concentrer sur quelque chose mais c'est probablement récent car il n'est pas dans le Littré

c'est le "focus" qui est interne ou externe, pas le client.
Le client interne, je ne vois pas très bien ce que ce serait.
