Court Decision
This follows the standard "حكمت النحكمة حضورياً إعتبارياً", and I have found that "حضورياً" means "in presence of the parties or "after hearing the parties". But I can't find a single reference as to what "إعتبارياً" possibly means in this context. Anyone knows? and if so, how to translate it?

Comment: "From the definiton provided by "safaealem", it appears that الحكم الحضوري الاعتباري is in between "in absentia" and "in the presence of the Defendant". I am not aware of any specific term in English that captures the nuance of the absence of the Defendant but the Court still considers the Defendant as virtually present. As a result, I chose "in absentia" even though it does not convey the exact meaning."

وهو حكم تصدره المحكمة في غيبة المتهم او الخصم و يعتبر كانه صدر في مواجهته و لذلك سمي حكما حضوريا اعتباريا و قد يكون هذا اما بقوة القانون او بقرار من المحكمة التي اصدرته فاذا كنا في الحالة الاولى كان وجوبيا ان تعتبره المحكمة كذلك اما اذا كان و بقرار من المحكمة فيكون جوازيا و لها ان تعتبره حكما حضوريا اعتباريا و لها ان تعتبره حكما غيابيا
