General Conditions for the Hire of Railway Tank Cars

XX Company hires to ZZ Company the following 8 four-axled tank wagons for chemical products, which are duly registered in Germany and approved for international traffic.

(1) The Lessor is a signatory to the ''General Contract of Use for Wagons'' (GCU) and is the keeper of the hired wagon under the terms of the GCU.
(2) The Lessee shall be considered another party authorized by the keeper of the wagon in accordance with the terms of the GCU with regards to the following only:
- Instructions to the user railway undertaking regarding the deployment of the wagon when used for loaded runs and empty runs;
-Acceptance of information in accordance with Article 15.2 GCU on the kilometric performance actually carried out by the wagon.
